Prayer

We believe that prayer works.

Week of Prayer

Our next Week of Prayer will be taking place from Saturday 6 January - Saturday 13 January 2024.

Rhythms of Prayer

A personal daily rhythm of prayer

In the Morning

Use the Lord’s Prayer to get some time with God.

At Lunchtime

Pray for the lost with 2 lists:
1 - Lost List – friends, family and those near to us who we would love to discover Jesus and who we want to pray for on a regular basis.
2 - Neighbourhood – start praying for the households around you, homes to the left, right and in front of your home. 5-10 households.

In the Evening

Prayers of Thanks – to thank God for all the things he has done and given to you throughout that day.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of him.

– 1 John 5:14-15

Try Fasting

Fasting is voluntarily giving up something to increase our focus on God. Why not consider fasting. Here is some really helpful guidance:  Grow In Prayer - Try Fasting
It’s a good balance of practical biblical encouragement and sensible safeguards.

What has God been saying to you?

We want to hear what God is saying to us. We are encouraging everyone to listen to God. So please let us know by telling your Life Group, Venue Leader, or by using this online form.

We believe that God speaks to us today. We would love to hear what you feel God has been sharing with you. It could be a Bible verse, picture, word, song, prophecy, or testimony.

It could be something small, it might seem insignificant, but would love to hear about it.
